As for my poetry, I honestly don't share much of it with many people because its so personal to me and the majority of my poetry is inspired from personal life experiences. Lately though, I've been feeling a bit bold and willing to share lolz and I may do spoken word or an open mic very soon!!! ;) So read these and tell me what you think?? ♥
Death shall prevail over ALL!!!! (a poem) ;)
Awaiting my moment along with the rest,
as my heart beats compulsively through my chest.
Dare I see my time to depart?
As I long to reunite with the ones I lost at the start,
of my fears, my madness, my insecurities,
dare I let these feelings get the best of me?
As my body aches,
I swill await for my dark evening to fall
Dare I know that DEATH shall prevail over ALL???

lolz I wrote this when I was simply thinking about death and how all of us await our time. I went into such deep thought that I just started writing and that's what came out. It almost scared me at first but there's nothin' scary about the truth lolz ;)

Alive,
A word full of meaning
For once its essence describes
my own being
How does one become alive?
Is it the beat of our souls
dancing on the inside?
is not knowing what lies
ahead in the journey of our lives?
I feel alive when the sun greets my face
I even feel alive as
my heart & mind begin to race
Alive.
A definite gift though,
looked upon as a curse
Im certain that there is some
sort of purpose for this universe.
For it is as aive as we are on the inside.
As nature, science and pure chance collide,
there's realization of beauty of how it feels to be
Alive
Even as I've died on the inside I've
somehow managed to witness the
reincarnation of my spirit
An appreciation of life holds priority
to embrace my forth comings and all of you
around me
For WE ARE ALIVE!
In unison as we share our lives and
even after we've died
WE ARE ALIVE,
as the DEAD are in our minds.
