Joe and I have been friends now for about 2 1/2 years now. Joe is originally from Cincinnati and came to Chicago for college. He attended the art institute and soon came to Columbia College Chicago. After three years creating by himself, Joe joined a few bands. Forming the band The Wizards of Menlo Park, Joe toured regionally for two and a half years. In 2007 seeking a new and more flexible incarnation to his music, Joe moved to Chicago where he has connected with his love of the blues.

Joe has played with many local musicians, and performed at venues in Chicago’s northside, loop, and wicker park. Currently, Joe is near completion in recording his premier studio album OPAL to be released early in 2011. The self-produced album is a composition of his new songs since arriving in Chicago. The composition is a highly electrified soulful cross between blues and classic rock, with pop sensibilities that allow his sound to be both a 70's revival, and contemporary.
